Clean your skin on the day of the treatment (no makeup, lotions, or sunscreens).

You can undergo laser hair removal as long as you’re over the age of 18 (or accompanied by a parent) and are not pregnant or breastfeeding. This treatment works best for those with darker hair since the laser works by pinpointing the pigment. Contrary to popular belief, the color of your skin doesn’t make a difference. Immediately After:

Monitor for side effects: Some women and men may experience side effects after starting HRT, including breast tenderness, headaches, bloating, or spotting (in women). These side effects are often temporary.
Keep track of symptoms: Make a note of any changes in your symptoms, either improvements or new side effects, and share them with your healthcare provider during follow-up visits.

First 3–5 Days:

Moisturize frequently with a gentle, hydrating moisturizer (look for products with ceramides, hyaluronic acid, or petroleum jelly).
Avoid sun exposure; this is crucial for proper healing. Stay indoors or wear SPF 30+ if going outside.
Ice packs can be used to reduce swelling.
Do not pick at the skin or peel off any scabs, this can cause scarring.
Avoid hot water, saunas, or intense sweating for at least a week.
